Preproduction Services
storyboarding - To help visualize scenes, we create sequences of pictures to communicate the desired general visual appearance on camera of a scene or movie.

Script Treatments - Before creating a script for a production, we first create a several page treatment which summarizes the overall plot, every major scene, and describes roles of each character or actor.

Script Writing - For any production, we create the blueprint that outlines the story and also provides the dialogue for the actors, and the direction for the directors, camera operators, and editors.

Script Editing / Doctoring - If a script is close but just needs a little more treatment, we review and make any necessary changes where scenes, storylines, dialogue, or character actions are awkward, not believable, or do not add to the overall storytelling or viewing experience.

Production Scheduling - Once a production is given to the initial go ahead, a detailed plan or production schedule is developed setting up estimated timing of milestones, actions, and resources associated with implementing the production.

Production Services
Video Taping - We shoot footage in 24 progressive which emulates the same frame rate as film as opposed to shooting at 60 interlace. Most of our productions are also shot in true anamorphic 16x9 aspect ratio.

Sound Recording - To capture sound everything is recorded digitally using any necessary shotgun microphones, boom poles, and wireless lapel microphones.

Green / Blue Screen - If scenes need to be composited over another background during postproduction, we videotape the actors or subjects in front of an evenly lit, monochromatic green or blue screen background.

2nd Unit Production - Sometimes it is realized in a production that a primary crew will not have time to video tape particular shots. We can help and provide a small, subordinate crew that can gather such needed footage ensuring that your production leaves no shot behind.

Technical Advising - Many times storylines have technical elements. For example, if a script is a about a computer hacker then more than likely there will be computer jargon, terminology, and technology in the dialogue and scenes. If such elements are misused in a script, it may result in some eye rolling from your audience. We can assist you by giving any technical advice on a wide range of subjects such as computer science and engineering, technology, mathematics, chemistry, biology, manufacturing, religion, athletics, urban culture, etc.

Crane / Dolly / Glide Cam Shots - Certain shots require camera motion in order to create a particular dramatic effect. By using cranes, dollies, tracks, or glide cams to move the camera we can create effects such as shots rising to show the actors/action from above or pulling back or pulling forward camera effects.

Lighting - This is probably the most important technical element in a production since it can determine the quality of the image. If it is too bright the whites and bright colors appear overexposed. If it is too dark the image becomes grainy with little contrast in color. Although simplicity is a must in any production, we still provide lighting that is appropriate to your production. Whether we are using 1, 2, 3-or 5-point lighting, we use whatever techniques such as key, fill, and/or back lighting to help reveal depth, form and mood resulting in well lit footage.

Post Production Services
Video Editing - From a rough cut down to the final cut, we can cut your raw footage to flow in a good rhythm and coherent story. We can also splice multiple takes to enhance the performances and timing of your actors. Editing also can involve synchronizing any audio elements as well as enhancing any images or sound.

Sound Re-Recording - After a production has been completed, it may be realized that certain audio from particular scenes were inaudible or difficult to understand. And if a budget is constrained and does not allow any further additional shooting, we provide a more cost effective approach by simply re-recording the actors in our sound studio and synching up their vocal audio with the actual video.

Scoring - A movie or video is just like music in which it has a certain tempo, cadence, tone, and dynamic. Therefore, the score not only can help set up those elements, it can be the most important factor in determining the success of the final product. No matter the genre, we can arrange a musical score for your production. If you are constrained to a tight budget, then we also have stock music available for you to choose from.

Sound Editing - Once your score has been completed, we can take each recorded track and mixdown, compress, pan, pitch correct, time correct, noise reduce, and equalize everything into the final master track.

Sound Effects Editing - A scene may need a particular sound effect. We can provide a library of sounds and synch up the audio to match the action on the video. We can also create sound effects from scratch in our sound studio that our specific and perhaps even unique to your production.

Chroma Keying / Compositing - By taking footage recorded in front of a blue or green screen, we can chroma key out those color elements to be replaced with different backgrounds or footage.

Color Correcting - No matter how good your footage looks it can probably still be enhanced. This can be done by either boosting or lessening certain color values. In post production, we can also help correct lighting or off-colored images that were a result of equipment problems during shooting.

Motion Graphics - To help make your video more engaging and look more professional, we can take still graphics or text and create the illusion of motion by panning, rotating, or transforming its appearance and synchronizing its motion to audio such a sound effect or music.

Projects
Commercials - We can help produce your 30 second or 1 minute commercial from the initial concept, to storyboarding, to scripting, to principal photography, to post production.
